Elisabeth Anne, who is well known as Elisabeth Betty Broderick, was born in 1947 in a middle-class family. She grew up in middle-class tranquility. She attended a local school and after high school, Betty earned a degree at Mount Saint Vincent College. At the age of 17 she met her future husband Dan Broderick at a Notre dame football game. That was the first time when she was allowed by her parents to travel out of town with friends. She fell in love with him and over the next three years they dated. They spent time with each other. Both of them had big dreams and they even loved the same song, Johnny Mathis’ “until the twelfth of never”. At last the love birds married on 12 April, 1969. In 1970, she gave birth to her first child. They started a happy life and Betty enjoyed the reputation as an excellent mother and model wife. But the happy story had a painful end after some years they separated and in 1989, Elisabeth fatally shot her ex-husband and his new wife in bed and now she is in prison from last two decades.
