Casper Van Dien is an actor in American acting industry who was born in 1968 to Casper Robert Van Dien Sr. and Diane. He is showing just one tattoo on his body which is the tattoo of the famous cartoon character Casper, which he has engraved underside his left bicep. The pictures show that this is the one and only tattoo that he has engraved on his body. The boy is best known for his role as Johnny Rico which he played on show Startship Troopers. The family has been using the surname of Casper for past 11 generations, and now it has become a sort of tradition for them that their every newly born child owns this name. Besides, they also have a long history of joining military. His grandfather was a Marine during WWII. Originally, they are Dutch, as their old generations belong to that country, but for past 50 to 60 years, they have been living in States.

His school period was not as good as he had to face many problems in school due to his look and beautiful face. There were many boys who were jealous of him who would put him into different fights. He was first enrolled in Admiral Farragut Academy to become a Marine like his grandfather, but then he left the military school and moved to Los Angeles where he started doing small roles in television movies and series. He became famous through science fiction film Startship Troopers.
