It is quite strange for many people that Elizabeth Edwards did not mention her husband’s name in her will and gave everything to her three children. The 28-year-old eldest daughter Cate Edwards is declared the executor of all her belongings while she will also serve as the guardian of other two siblings Emma Clair, 12, and Jack, 10. The will, which was filed in the Orange County, North Carolina, describes that she has given no authority to father former Senator John Edwards.
The 61-year-old Edwards died last month after fighting with breast cancer. The will clearly states that all of her furnishing, jewelry, automobiles, silverware, household goods, furniture that she owned at the time of her death would go to her children. The will was signed on December 1, 2010.
It is not like if she was ruthless but the fact is she took revenge from her husband of his infidelity that he showed during 2008 presidential nomination when he started an affair with campaign aide Rielle Hunter. Senator later admitted that he had fathered a baby with the same lady. The 32-year long marriage got an end on January 2010 after she filed for divorce in court. Besides a loving mom and a caring wife, Elizabeth was a successful author who wrote two books named “Resilience” and “Saving Graces”. The first book is about her battle with cancer while the second one was about her dead son Wade who died in a car accident.
