The legendary Elizabeth Taylor was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park cemetery in Los Angeles on Thursday. She was buried close to her friend Michael Jackson. She died early Wednesday after a heart attack. Due to her Judaism faith, the family thought it would better to burry her just after one day of her death; the funeral was attended by just close friends and family members. Those who attended the funeral services came in a convoy of limos but the convoy was late at least 15 minutes. Then, a rep told that it was her desire that her funeral should be reached 15 minutes late at cemetery.
The fans are paying her a tribute through cards and followers and they are saying she was the best of all and no one could be like her. Earlier, her close friend Elton John also paid her a tribute during his concert saying she was one of the greatest persons he had ever met in his life and she was a great actor but besides that she was great person. Elton also dedicated a song to her as well. Elizabeth was working with Elton John to raise awareness among the people about the HIV and AIDS and they were also raising funds for the research.
She converted to Judaism before her marriage with Eddie Fisher and remained attached with the same faith till her death. Forest Lawn is also the resting place for Clark Gable and Jean Harlow.
