CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight’s host Lou Dobbs is leaving CNN. He announced on his Wednesday show that he is going to leave CNN. The reason is that he is receiving threatening phone calls from some unknown people forcing him to leave CNN otherwise he will have to face hard things. Another strong reason is his contradicting views about the immigration, border enforcement with the national authorities. He said that some authorities in politics and media don’t want him on air.
“Some leaders in the media, politics and business have been urging me to go beyond my role here at CNN and engage in constructive problem-solving,” Dobbs said before listing off issues such as the growth of the middle class, health care and immigration. “I will continue to strive to deal honestly and straightforwardly with those issues in the future.”
His resignation is accepted. He did not say anything about his next move but he said that he is considering a lot of options for future. Dobbs was born in 29th of September 1945 and known as a radio host and television host and anchor. He is the managing editor of his show Lou Dobbs Tonight. Dobbs joined CNN in 1980 when the network was first launched in the world and continued to work with it till 1999 when he left CNN after some contradictions with the Rick Kaplan former president of CNN. He rejoined CNN on 2001 after the departure of Kaplan. He worked for CNN for whole 27 years and it is sad that he is leaving his own business like that.He said about his career.
