Mark Buehrle has earned fame in the game of baseball. Dewayne Wise also preserved his placement in most of Leagues in the history of baseball. Gabe Kapler was the first out in the field which was placed by wise and was of defensive type.

In the ninth inning Gabe Kapler was out when he made a hit and wise ran up towards wall in the centerfield and successfully reached to make a catch and throw the ball as the runner looses and fell down on the ground. The manager of white Sox Ozzie Guillen, said that it was really a good defensive field and wise made a very appreciative role in this game.

Buehrle said in the news conference;

“I owe him a little bit more than a steak dinner; this one will probably be more expensive than that.”

Wise was in the game for his second season said;

“He spent the late innings on the exercise bike in the training room to get loose and admitted being nervous entering the game in such a crucial situation”

In an interview with ESPN, wise said;

“Right when the ball was hit, I told myself I had to go, I had to do whatever it takes, even if I had to run through the wall to catch the ball. I’m just glad it hung up long enough to give me time to get back there and make the leaping catch.”

Baseball has only 16 perfect games and the last pitcher who retired 27 batters was Randy Johnson.
