Yankees Parade

Last night, Yankees defeated Philadelphia Phillies with 7-3 and earned title by 4 games to 2. New York Yankees are crowned again with World Series Title. They are ready to race a parade down the Canyon of Heroes in Manhattan, a place famous for ticker-tape parade. The parade will begin at around 11 am in the morning on Friday in celebrations to win the Title and defeating the Phillies in New York. Parade will have a journey from Broadway to Chambers Street. The teammates will get showers of the confetti from spectators all along the route. The team will be presented the key to the city at City Plaza by mayor of New York, Michael R. Bloomberg.
According to the sources, the sidewalks of the route will be opened for the public. A huge screen will be put outside the City Hall for the public to view inside celebrations as the City Hall is too small to hold such a mob. Mr. Nutters will join mayor of New York with Yankees jersey and will paint a mural on the walls of the Albert Einstein’s school.
Hedaki Matsui has played a vital role in Yankees success with a score of 6 out of 7. He is the first native Japanese to win the MVP for himself and also he is the second hitter who has scored eight RBIs with Jackson who made a record in 1977 and 1978. After the match, he spoke about his performance and said that he was happy as well as amazed at his performance.
“The Boss” is not joining the team in the celebrations as he is in home and enjoying success there. Yankees are not talking about his health but it is sure that he is ill and not feeling well. He was here in New York in first two games but after that went back to home with wife.
