Pharrell Williams was born in 1973 in Virginia Beach to Pharoah Williams and Carolyn. The eldest son of parents became a rapper and fashion designer after completing his education. Furthermore, he also became a record producer. He has attached with two singing groups right now, where he is first a member of a singing due named The Neptunes which he formed along with his friend Chad Hugo. Then, he is the lead vocalist for band N.E.R.D, which has three members including him. The group released its first single song in 2003, while the first album of the group was released in 2006 under title In My Mind.

There is a long history behind his singing dup The Neptunes. He is a best friend of Chad Hugo, with he first met at a summer band camp where he played keyboards while Hugo played snare drum. They attended the same Princess Anne High School where they were part of the school band. It was during this time when they decided that they would be working as a singing due after completing their school education. The dream turned into reality after they formed duo The Neptunes.

He has engraved a number of tattoos on his body which include a big angel and three girls on the body. The big angel is located on his neck. He has covered both of his forearms and biceps with tattoos. A girl tattoo is located on his left forearm, while the two girls are made on his right forearm.
