Victoria Reggie Kennedy the widow of Senator Edward M.Kennedy and she is a lawyer by profession. She was aware of this fact that his husband just have two months of his life.

Yesterday in Oprah Winfrey show, Vicki said she wouldn’t try to run for her husband’s former U.S. Senate seat and how his husband fight against brain cancer although he was aware that he just have two to three months to live. She said:

“Early on, he was given a very, very short period of time, and he just didn’t accept that. He didn’t accept that”.

In the show when Winfery asked her about the moment when she came to know about that his husband is suffering from brain cancer then she told:

“It was really a roller coaster few days for us. From that morning in May when he had the seizure at our home, it started off as a beautiful, sunny Cape Cod morning in May, where we were looking forward to sailing, the first sail of the season,”

Then the lady recalled and told Oprah about that morning when teddy was not felling well, we went to a local hospital. She said:

“I mean, the real story of the last 15 months was what Teddy accomplished and how much he did in those last 15 months,”

He just spent one day on bed and that was the day when he died. When he died his family was there but Vicki didn’t reveal his last words. She told Oprah:



“I think I’ll just keep that one to myself if it’s OK.”

She is so much inspired with the courage of her husband as she said,

“He just gave me so much encouragement at a very difficult time in my life,”

She told Winfrey.

“He was just such an optimistic person.”
